Chaika At The Rhythm Hut

The Rhythm Hut is a cornerstone of culture in the Central Coast, a wonderful venue with a beautiful vibe which makes it the perfect place for Chaika to wrap up their May mini tour. Chaika are a six member ensemble who perform uniquely original compositions and re-imaginings of traditional songs. Sensuous, cinematic and danceable, their music is a rich tapestry of vocal harmonies that weave seamlessly into instrumental dialogues.

Bail Out Sydney

Whitelion charity's annual fundraiser “Bail Out” will provide participants with the experience of a lifetime - a day in the life of a prisoner. Aiming to raise $700,000 in funds for the charity's vital education, health and mentoring programs that go to disadvantaged, poverty-stricken youths across Australia, people can sign up to the event as “inmates”. Inmates are required to sign up with a minimum $1000 bail set, so that family, friends and the public can donate money toward your freedom! Buddha's Birthday Festival

Tumbalong Park & Palm Grove Celebrate Buddha's birthday and share a message of peace while enjoying talks, performances, meditation and delicious vegetarian food.
